The Christmas Store is a special one-day event held each December for families living near Outreach Carol Stream. Qualifying families can affordably shop for Christmas gifts for their children—at a savings of 75% off retail price. This is a win-win!
Purchasing affordable gifts honors parents and grandparents, while proceeds from the Store are designated to Outreach’s case management services, which help families throughout the year who need financial assistance.
Christmas Store attendees experience the joy and the magic of Christmas as they shop for their children and grandchildren.
We rely on you to fill the shopping tables annually with the 4,000 gifts needed. Companies, churches, school groups, community groups, Bible studies, offices, and neighborhoods are invited to sponsor a gift drive.
Utilize our Gift Drive Registration form to register your drive for this year. Outreach will supply paper ornaments with suggested gift items to help you promote and organize the drive.
Our electronic media kit, available for download, includes gift wish list flyers, plus photos, the logo, and sample text for you to use.
Over 350 volunteers make the store a reality each year. Individuals, groups, and families are invited to participate in the days and weeks leading up to the event and at the store itself. We need gift wrappers, shuttle drivers, shopper helpers, runners, and many different roles to pick from.
