Find Hope and Healing
Are you—or someone you care about—feeling overwhelmed by life, relationships, or stress?
Life can feel overwhelming—whether you’re facing anxiety, navigating relationship struggles, grieving a loss, healing from trauma, or going through a major life change. You don’t have to do it alone. At Outreach, we offer a safe, welcoming space for healing, clarity, and renewed hope.
For over 50 years, our clinicians have walked alongside individuals and families across Chicagoland, offering psychological testing and strengths-based counseling that honors your story and values. For those who seek it, our therapists can thoughtfully integrate Christian faith into the counseling process.
We’re here for the whole person. When practical barriers arise, we offer flexible options like telehealth and school or community-based sessions. If more support is needed, we can connect you to case management services to help you move forward with confidence.

Psychological Testing & Assessment
Understanding the root of challenges is the first step toward meaningful growth. Our psychological testing services provide in-depth evaluations to uncover learning difficulties, attention challenges, social and emotional concerns, and neurodevelopmental differences. These assessments offer the clarity needed to move forward with confidence and the right support.
We provide comprehensive evaluations for individuals of all ages, including:
- Attention & Executive Functioning Testing – Assess ADHD and related challenges to develop effective support strategies.
- Autism Evaluations – Conduct thorough assessments to determine an autism diagnosis and provide tailored recommendations for support and intervention.
- Learning & Academic Assessments – Diagnose learning disabilities, pinpoint cognitive strengths, and provide guidance for educational success.
- Emotional & Personality Assessments – Gain deeper insight into emotional well-being, mental health concerns, mood disorders, and the impact of trauma.
- Pre-Field Assessments – Conduct a series of assessments to evaluate the preparedness of aid and ministry workers.
At the conclusion of the assessment process, individuals and families will participate in a feedback session and receive a comprehensive report. During this session, the psychologist will thoroughly review the results, provide clear insights, and offer personalized recommendations. If needed, we’ll connect you with additional resources, such as counseling, occupational therapy, academic support, and other services tailored to your needs.

Accessible & Affordable Care
We believe that cost should never be a barrier to receiving care. In addition to being in-network with insurances such as Aetna, BCBS, Optum/United Healthcare, we also take clients with Medicaid and Medicare. For those without insurance, we also offer sliding-scale fees based on financial need, thanks to scholarship funds supported by private donors, local churches, and grant and foundation funding.
