José’s dreams of joining the army were shattered after a year of rigorous training. With hopes gone and opportunities lost, he decided to take on small jobs following in his father’s steps.
Outreach came to his aid at his lowest point. The nurture and mentoring offered by the staff of Employment Opportunity Center equipped him with life skills and nudged him in the right career direction. A first-generation graduate, he now looks forward to entrepreneurial opportunities.
