Aimee Maas, MSW, LCSW, CAAP
Counseling Program Director, Animal Assisted Therapist
Aimee Maas, LCSW, is the Program Director at Outreach Counseling Center Carol Stream. She holds an MSW from Washington University in St. Louis and a CAAP in Animal Assisted Psychotherapy from Animal Assisted Therapy Programs of Colorado.
Aimee specializes in Animal Assisted Psychotherapy, incorporating her therapy dog, Paddington, to create a safe and supportive space for clients. Her therapeutic focus includes grief and loss, perinatal mood disorders, and complex trauma for children and adults.
Beyond her clinical work, Aimee is involved in crisis response and volunteer ministry through Canines for Christ. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, spending time with her family, and participating in worship at her local church.
Victor Antonio Argo, LMFT, BCN
Senior Therapist
Victor Antonio Argo, LMFT, is a Senior Therapist at Outreach Counseling Carol Stream. He holds a BA from Moody Bible Institute and an MA in Clinical Psychology from Wheaton College and has been a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist since 1995.
Victor specializes in individual, family, group, and couples therapy, with expertise in neurofeedback and trauma. He is board-certified in neurofeedback (BCN) and trained in EMDR and Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFCT).
His personal journey through trauma, pain, and healing inspires his work, allowing him to bring hope and wisdom to those navigating their own healing journeys.
Inae So, MA, ATR
Youth and Family Therapist
Inae So is a Youth and Family Therapist at Outreach Counseling Center Carol Stream. She holds a BA from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and an MA from Adler University in Chicago. She is a registered art therapist (ATR) and completed training in Sensory Motor Arousal Regulation Treatment (SMART) in 2022, focusing on complex trauma in children and adolescents.
Inae specializes in helping individuals navigate life transitions, including immigration, career changes, grief, and aging. She has experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and older adults dealing with depression, anxiety, and trauma. With a background in Art & Design, she uses Art Therapy to help clients increase emotional awareness and self-expression.
In her free time, Inae enjoys playing instruments, painting, and cooking.
Hannah Kim, ALMFT
Youth and Family Therapist
Hannah Kim, ALMFT, is a Youth and Family Therapist at Outreach Counseling Center Carol Stream. She holds a BA in Psychology and Communication from the University of Washington and an MA in Marriage and Family Therapy from Wheaton College. A pre-licensure staff member, she earned her Associate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (ALMFT) credential in 2024.
Hannah provides family, individual, and couples therapy, supporting clients through trauma, life transitions, depression, anxiety, and relational conflicts. She embraces a thoughtful, patient approach, helping clients navigate the challenges of therapy as a journey of growth, compassion, and understanding.
In her free time, Hannah enjoys exploring nature trails, watching movies, and catching up with friends.
Madhu Balasubramaniam, LPC, NCC
Youth and Family Therapist
Madhu Balasubramaniam, LPC, NCC, is a Youth and Family Therapist at Outreach Counseling Carol Stream. She holds a master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Wheaton College and a background in Dietetics from the University of Madras.
Madhu provides individual, family, and couples therapy, specializing in complex trauma, life transitions, anxiety, depression, OCD, neurodevelopmental challenges, and multicultural issues. She integrates faith and art into her trauma-informed, client-centered approach, drawing from cognitive-behavioral and family systems models.
Her work with marginalized communities in South Asia and anti-human trafficking efforts inspired her passion for mental health advocacy. She also serves as a staff therapist at Wheaton College Counseling Center.
In her free time, Madhu enjoys painting, reading, cooking, hiking, and hosting gatherings.
Grace Carlson, LPC, NCC
Therapist and Crisis Intervention Program Coordinator
Grace Carlson is a Youth and Family Therapist at Outreach Counseling. She holds a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Wheaton College and an undergraduate degree in Psychology with a Neuroscience certificate. Currently a pre-licensure staff member, she brings strong expertise to her role.
Grace specializes in individual, family, group, and couples therapy, with training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Spiritual First Aid. She also holds a Trauma Certificate from Wheaton College. She addresses a range of mental health challenges, including trauma, life transitions, depression, anxiety, couples’ concerns, adolescent issues, identity, adoption, and school-related challenges.
Her holistic, person-centered approach tailors therapy to each client’s beliefs, values, and circumstances. In her free time, Grace enjoys baking, crafting, and spending time with loved ones.
Brian Post, PsyD, LCP
Clinical Supervisor
Dr. Brian Post, PsyD, is a licensed clinical psychologist with over 15 years of experience in therapy, psychological assessment, clinical supervision, and graduate-level teaching. He earned his doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Wheaton College.
Dr. Post specializes in individual and marital therapy, offering a safe space where adults feel understood and valued. He encourages authenticity and helps clients develop healthier relational patterns for greater personal and emotional connection. He welcomes conversations about faith and spirituality as part of the therapeutic journey.
In couples therapy, Dr. Post utilizes Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to strengthen emotional communication and security. He also provides comprehensive psychological assessments, including personality evaluations, diagnostic clarification, bariatric surgery readiness, adoption assessments, and seminary or missions preparedness.
Outside of work, he enjoys meaningful conversations and supporting personal growth.
Ann Wakeman
Office Manager, Clinical Program Assistant, and CACTC Program Assistant
Ann Wakeman is the Office Manager, Clinical Program Assistant, and CACTC Program Assistant at Outreach Counseling Center-Carol Stream. She has a B.S. from Indiana University and attended Fairleigh Dickinson University in their Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) program with a K-8 certification.
Ann brings strong administrative expertise to her role, holding Microsoft Office Specialist certifications in Word and Excel. She is also a member of the Student Excellence Foundation board.
Passionate about Outreach’s mission, Ann values her coworkers—and, of course, Paddington, the therapy dog! Her dedication supports the smooth operation of clinical and training programs at Outreach.
Outside of work, Ann enjoys spending time with her three sons (usually on a soccer field) and being involved in her community.
Melody Mathieu
Receptionist
Melody Mathieu is a Receptionist, where she warmly welcomes clients and supports the team with administrative tasks, including answering calls, entering data, scoring tests, and general office duties.
She is passionate about Outreach’s mission, believing in the transformative impact of providing resources that help individuals heal and grow into their God-given potential. She also values the kindness and professionalism of the staff, who dedicate their skills to serving clients.
In addition to her role at Outreach, Melody works as an Administrative Assistant at a church. She is active in a Women’s Bible study and enjoys spending time outdoors and gathering with family and friends.
