Sandy Oyler, MSW, LCSW
Director of Counseling Programs
Sandy Oyler serves as the Director of Counseling Services at our Wheaton and Warrenville locations, where she provides leadership and strategic direction to the clinical team. She brings nearly 30 years of experience as a licensed clinical social worker, supporting clients of all ages through life’s challenges. She has especially enjoyed working with women navigating transitions, anxiety, depression, trauma, and issues of faith and spirituality. Sandy earned her Master of Social Work from Loyola University Chicago and her bachelor’s degree from Wheaton College.
Sandy is currently not accepting new clients.
Dora Valenzuela, MA, LPC
Bilingual Youth and Family Therapist
Dora Valenzuela, LPC, is a Bilingual Youth and Family Therapist at Outreach Counseling Center Warrenville. She holds a BA in Elementary Education from Northeastern University and an MA from Texas Wesleyan University. A Licensed Professional Counselor since 2014, she has also worked as a school counselor.
Dora specializes in individual and family therapy, addressing anxiety, depression, complex trauma, transitions, grief, faith, and spirituality. Using a holistic approach, she helps clients build self-awareness, explore emotions, and focus on their strengths. She also works with families to enhance communication and relationships.
Her passion for therapy grew from years of teaching, where she saw the need for emotional support beyond academics. Dora enjoys learning, visiting archaeological sites, and has counseled unaccompanied children arriving in the U.S.
Jennifer Gutke, MFT, LCPC
Therapist
Jennifer Gutke, LCPC, is a therapist at Outreach Counseling Center Warrenville. She holds a BA in Applied Psychology from the Florida Institute of Technology and an MA in Clinical Psychology with a specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University. Licensed since 2023, she provides therapy for individuals, families, groups, and couples.
Jennifer works extensively with teen girls, young adults, adults, families, and couples. Her collaborative, strengths-based approach empowers clients to rewrite their life narratives. She incorporates a systemic perspective, recognizing the impact of relationships and environments on personal growth.
In her free time, Jennifer enjoys reading, spending time with her family, and walking her dogs.
Caroline Capuano
Clinical Mental Health Counseling Intern
Caroline Capuano is a Clinical Mental Health Counseling Intern at Outreach Warrenville. She earned her bachelor’s degree at Wheaton College and is currently finishing her master’s degree there in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
Caroline supports individuals in various life stages, couples, and families. She enjoys walking with clients navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, attachment, multicultural identity, and issues of faith and spirituality. She is moved by the power of stories, recognizing that each one is studded with beauty and pain. Her goal is for clients to recognize how their bodies and emotions reflect their stories, so that they are empowered to seek flourishing.
Outside of work, she enjoys cooking, reading, running, and spending time with her husband.

Jacob Loer
Clinical Mental Health Counseling Intern
Jacob Loer is a Clinical Mental Health Counseling Intern at Outreach Warrenville. He earned his BS in Psychology from Illinois State University and is currently pursuing his MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Trauma Certificate from Wheaton College.
Jacob supports individuals, families, couples across the lifespan to address a variety of concerns. He values being attentive to the specific needs of his clients. He believes that each individual/family requires a trauma informed, personalized and sometimes different approach depending on their needs. Jacob utilizes Child Centered Play Therapy when working with children, and a variety of approaches with adolescents, adults, and families.
In his free time, Jacob loves reading, learning, playing disc golf, video games, and traveling outdoors with his wife.
Jacob is supervised by Jennifer Gutke, LCPC.
Gloria Pinedo
Bilingual Office Manager
Gloria Pinedo is the Bilingual Office Manager where she enjoys the team and family atmosphere at Outreach and deeply values the dedication of staff to create a space of hope, peace, and safety for both clients and coworkers. Her compassionate presence contributes to a welcoming and trauma-informed environment.
Outside of her role at Outreach, Gloria volunteers as a Spanish interpreter with Administer Justice, a nonprofit organization providing legal support to underserved clients.
In her free time, Gloria enjoys gardening, spending time with her grandchildren, and learning more about self-care.
David Mendrygal, MA
Receptionist
David serves Outreach with a passion for holistic healing, driven by a deep commitment to the integration of faith, psychological scholarship, and clinical care. He holds a Master’s in Psychology from Wake Forest University and is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from Wheaton College.
His experience includes ministerial leadership in multi-campus church settings and conducting research on trauma, coping, and spirituality. David is particularly drawn to serving marginalized populations and walking with individuals through grief, addiction, and brokenness toward restoration.
At home, David is husband to Brittani and proud father of Elijah, Ezra, and Esther. He cherishes daily trips to the local park with his family and can often be found with his head buried in a theological text.
