Sandy Oyler, MSW, LCSW

Director of Counseling Programs

Sandy Oyler serves as the Director of Counseling Services at our Wheaton and Warrenville locations, where she provides leadership and strategic direction to the clinical team. She brings nearly 30 years of experience as a licensed clinical social worker, supporting clients of all ages through life’s challenges. She has especially enjoyed working with women navigating transitions, anxiety, depression, trauma, and issues of faith and spirituality. Sandy earned her Master of Social Work from Loyola University Chicago and her bachelor’s degree from Wheaton College.

Sandy is currently not accepting new clients.

Dora Valenzuela, MA, LPC

Bilingual Youth and Family Therapist

Dora Valenzuela, LPC, is a Bilingual Youth and Family Therapist at Outreach Counseling Center Warrenville. She holds a BA in Elementary Education from Northeastern University and an MA from Texas Wesleyan University. A Licensed Professional Counselor since 2014, she has also worked as a school counselor.

Dora specializes in individual and family therapy, addressing anxiety, depression, complex trauma, transitions, grief, faith, and spirituality. Using a holistic approach, she helps clients build self-awareness, explore emotions, and focus on their strengths. She also works with families to enhance communication and relationships.

Her passion for therapy grew from years of teaching, where she saw the need for emotional support beyond academics. Dora enjoys learning, visiting archaeological sites, and has counseled unaccompanied children arriving in the U.S.

Jennifer Gutke, MFT, LCPC

Therapist

Jennifer Gutke, LCPC, is a therapist at Outreach Counseling Center Warrenville. She holds a BA in Applied Psychology from the Florida Institute of Technology and an MA in Clinical Psychology with a specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University. Licensed since 2023, she provides therapy for individuals, families, groups, and couples.

Jennifer works extensively with teen girls, young adults, adults, families, and couples. Her collaborative, strengths-based approach empowers clients to rewrite their life narratives. She incorporates a systemic perspective, recognizing the impact of relationships and environments on personal growth.

In her free time, Jennifer enjoys reading, spending time with her family, and walking her dogs.

Lily Elliott

Clinical Counseling Intern

Lily Elliott is a Clinical Counseling Intern at Outreach Warrenville. She completed her BS in Child and Family Studies at Baylor University and is currently pursuing an MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Trauma Certificate at Wheaton College.

Lily is honored to sit with individuals, couples, and families across the lifespan. She is passionate about supporting those who have experienced trauma, interpersonal relationship challenges, and matters of faith and spirituality. She values authentic connection and a collaborative, holistic approach to counseling, fostering healing and growth. When desired by clients, she welcomes integrating faith into the counseling process.

In her free time, Lily enjoys spending time outdoors, reading, and connecting with friends.

Joie Ma

Clinical Counseling Intern

Joie Ma is a Counseling Intern at Outreach Warrenville. Having lived in many countries and worked across diverse fields, she brings strong intuition and insight into the challenges people face through different stages of life. Joie holds a master’s degree from Finland and is currently pursuing her MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Wheaton College.

Driven by her Christian faith, Joie is passionate about walking with people as they navigate complex transitions, grief, and trauma. Her journey from Asia to Europe and now to the US has shaped her holistic, culturally sensitive approach to counseling. Blending a love for art, design, music, and both East-Asian and Nordic cultures, she strives to provide a safe, mindful space where every person feels cherished, empowered to heal, and filled with hope.

Outside of counseling, she enjoys exercising, cooking, playing chess, traveling, and camping with her partner.

Gloria Pinedo

Bilingual Office Manager

Gloria Pinedo is the Bilingual Office Manager where she enjoys the team and family atmosphere at Outreach and deeply values the dedication of staff to create a space of hope, peace, and safety for both clients and coworkers. Her compassionate presence contributes to a welcoming and trauma-informed environment.

Outside of her role at Outreach, Gloria volunteers as a Spanish interpreter with Administer Justice, a nonprofit organization providing legal support to underserved clients.

In her free time, Gloria enjoys gardening, spending time with her grandchildren, and learning more about self-care.

Katie Roecker

Program Assistant

Katie Roecker is thankful and excited to be serving her hometown Warrenville in the Counseling Program Assistant role. She has volunteered and worked for Outreach over the years in small ways and after being at home with her kids full-time for the past several years, she is thrilled to be back. Katie enjoys combining her counseling background with her passion for administration and organization. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Illinois and her Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from Wheaton College.

Previously a counselor herself, Katie has a heart to serve both counselors and clients alike, hoping to make the administrative side of counseling as smooth as possible for everyone. When not at work, Katie enjoys spending time with her family and embarrassing her 3 kids whenever possible.
